Most Arson Destructions in Sagaing and Magway Regions
(February 2021 to October 2024)
Since the coup, armed conflicts have caused the destruction and burning of at least 105,799 houses and buildings throughout Myanmar. The Sagaing Region has experienced the highest level of destruction, with more than 63,655 properties affected. Following closely, the Magway Region saw the second-highest destruction, with at least 13,783 houses and buildings destroyed over the past three and a half years.
