Over 100,000 Arson Incidents Nationwide
(February 2021 to October 2024)
Since the coup, armed conflicts have led to the burning and destruction of over 105,799 houses and buildings nationwide. In 2022 alone, more than 51 percent of these structures were destroyed. Furthermore, in just the first ten months of 2024, an additional 23,497 houses and buildings were burned down.
