With the current Chair, the Philippines, prioritizing the South China Sea amid global crises, the Myanmar issue faces a steep climb to the top of the agenda. Strategic shifts may lie ahead, however, as chairmanship passes to Singapore despite ongoing internal ASEAN divisions.
