War Expanding Post ‘Operation 1027’

A total of at least 12,225 post-coup armed conflicts occurred in at least 221 townships across Myanmar. Since the launch of ‘Operation 1027’ by the three Brother Alliance and its allies on October 27, 2023, the map of armed conflicts has expanded across the country. Within a month of the launch of the operation, at least 525 clashes took place in northern Shan, Sagaing, Rakhine, Karen and Karenni areas.
